What are We in for, for ’09: Find Out!

Are you ready for ’09?  Most of us aren’t ready for it, but the designers are!  In this year, you should expect to see a lot of front, geometric prints being features in big names like Gucci, Marni and even our boy McQueen!  The colors are all over the board, from light, sherbert-like pastels all the way to hot, hot bright colors that produce a strong and solid look.  The key for many designers is boxy, boyish and just all around tailored to fit their models form.

Another style that is making waves in the news is techno-fashion.  Glow sticks, big and bold metallics and of course some beautiful shapes are all in the mix for next year kids! Hats, accessories and jewelry are all making a come back in ’09 and honestly, I for one, am extremely happy.  I have missed the big chunky look of jewelry and I have missed all those paperboy hats that are making an appearance lately.
