Victim by Mei Hui Liu Spring/Summer 2008

The Victim line by Mei Hui Liu is a bit odd, but not so much that it is completely un-wearable. The pieces themselves are gorgeous with the layers and flowing materials. They do sort of remind me of vintage clothing that you might find at an antique estate sale or a flea market, but I think that’s the whole point. The collection is really beautiful. It did take me a second look to fully appreciate what she’s done here, but it does grow on you after a while. As far as the make-up goes, I could definitely have lived without that, but the designs themselves are very nice.
