Tie-up Shoes for the Win!

If you pay attention to the runways and fashion in general, then you are seeing them everywhere. They are like VW Bugs or something, or red convertibles after you have just bought one yourself. We are, of course, referring to tie-up shoes, which are all the rage this summer. Specifically, ankle boots with ties are all the rage this summer.

Yes, no? Maybe?

I don’t know, I am kind of inclined to like them myself — and I am not generally the biggest fan of ankle length boots. Anyway, tie-up anything works right now, whether they are boots or pumps or something in between.

I guess someone out there decided that they were tired of just wearing their fabulous boots in fall and winter, so they decided to create a style that was warm weather friendly, and it just took off from there. Sort of like short sleeve sweaters and mock turtlenecks or something.
