The End of the Prada Auction: Paillette Prevails
Posted: 7/29/07
Over the last three weeks, we’ve been reporting on the Prada sample auction (back links here and here), an event put together to raise money for Fondazione San Raffaele, a medical research facility in Italy, and showcase some one-of-a-kind Prada items that never made it to the runway. My favorite is still the now long-gone Fiocco dress from
day one (pictured here), but I’ll live.
Over the last week of the auction, most of the new items brought to the block were all about the paillette. It’s spangle city up at Prada. The pink paillette skirt pictured here punches some real pizazz and will definitely get recognized. It’s currently going for just over four hundred Euros, though the price is sure to rise over the next few days. More new items from the Prada auction are pictured below.
