That is why we have come up with some of the greatest colors of this particular season – because yes, there are color trends for every single season and you want to make sure that you stay in style with the color trends for the spring/summer time.

White is one of the first colors that we are going to talk about.  White is actually incredible to wear, as it is one of the most elegant colors in the world and it is certainly one of the most popular colors.

On the one hand, this trend is really cute. On the rack and in theory, these puffy, bubbly dresses are adorable. The tops are elegant, the bottoms are a little funky, a little edgy, so it is all good.

On the body and in practice, though, I think this trend falls short unless you are interested in traipsing around looking like Lady Gaga (which you shouldn’t do, because she will accuse you of copying off of her).

I have seen girls wearing this. Even if you have legs up to your chin, this kind of dress tends to make you look a little stumpy. Plus, in the derriere area, you either look ginormous … or like you are trying to hide the fact that you are hiding some junk in the trunk — and failing miserably.

You just know that whenever you are dealing with Valentino, you are going to get some of the highest quality fashion.  This fall, you can expect to see a lot of quality things from the Valentino House and I can promise that the runway show this week is something that everyone has been looking forward to. 

Valentino graced the runway with lace, semi-sheer and lingerie as luxury.  The creative directors for the Valentino House, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli actually took a very bold step as they developed their own sense of style and for me it worked!  The sheer fabrics that were used, the lace and of course all of the ruffles were breathtakingly beautiful.

Valentino should be proud, as his house was certainly the highlight of the show and I have to say that I am looking forward to seeing all of these fall fashions grace the streets and the red carpet!

You do not have to hide your curves. You certainly should not be ashamed of them. You do not have to hide every inch of your skin in the sweltering summer weather, either.

Print sundresses are actually extremely flattering to the fuller figure. Picking a sundress that skims delicately and airily over your curvaceous figure is a good tip to consider as well.

Remember, you do not have to be hot and uncomfortable, and you do not have to feel patently not sexy in an unflattering dress.

The key is the waist line. You want to choose a dress by lowering your waist line, raising it, or eliminating it altogether. Empire waist dresses and drop waist dresses are popular choices, for example.

And as you can plainly see, as long as you choose a dress which conforms to one of the above design standards, you do not have to be afraid to wear bright, fun prints. Bold dresses will not add any bulk as long as you make sure you have the right waist line — or lack thereof!

How can you find a dress made to flatter a fuller bottom? You want something that skims. A dress with a shirt that sort of floats over your lower half is ideal for flattering a full derriere. Full skirts are your best friend — and they are very fun and flirty, while maintaining an elegance in terms of the silhouette.

Remember, team your full skirts with a fitted upper half for ultra appeal. Halter dresses are great, as are strapless dresses.

The silhouettes will flatter you beyond belief, and you will both feel and look perfect!

Now, do not worry; if you are thinking back to the poet’s shirts popular (at least among certain groups) in the early 90s, wipe those visions out of your mind. You do not have to walk around looking like you are trying out for a Shakespearean play.

A little ruffle will go along way — especially when it is used to create, say, a feminine dress or skirt. This summer, though, ruffles should be relegated to the hem of your clothing, or the neckline. Ruffles draw attention, so try showing off your legs or your upper torso, rather than anything else.

Whenever you are looking for something that is super spring-like, you need to really turn toward sundresses.  Sundresses are honestly one of those things that are extremely springy and they are certainly the first sign of spring in the fashion world.  Personally, I love sundresses and I love the fact that Juicy Couture makes them!

This sundress for example is one of the many sundresses that Juicy had made this year and I think that it looks incredible!  Not only is it the perfect color but it is definitely the cutest thing in the world!  I love the fact that it is ruffled at the bottom and that the top is so cute.

So the next time you are looking for a spring dress that is cute and fashionable, you should turn toward Juicy Couture, I can promise that you will find something to wear to your Easter service!

When it comes to ruffles, I know that I, particularly am not all that much of a fan, but when I saw that Elie Saab was doing ruffles in a lot of their collection, well, I just had to see what the fuss was all about and I have to say that these dresses were designed beautifully and look absolutely stunning.  Personally, I would never wear one, but if I had to look at one for a while, it would not make me puke from all of the ruffles (I – really hate ruffles).

This piece in particular caught my attention because it really actually reminds me of a piano, the way that the shape is and that fabric that was picked, it looks like the keys of a piano.  Now, I don’t know if that was what this dress was supposed to look like, but to me, that is what it looks like.

So if you are looking for more ruffles, don’t be shy!  Elie Saab’s collection definitely has a whole heck of a lot more ruffles and you should definitely check it out, after all, ruffles are very in right now!

So it does have to said, I am in love with D & G, not only do I think that they produce some of the best clothing in the world, but when I was flipping through my latest style magazine and I caught wind of their show in Milan this past week, I had to go ahead and get some of their latest collection up for you guys!

This collection is filled with all sorts of bustier dresses with lampshade mini skirts, jewel-encrusted vests and of course a bustier top that was paired with some high-waisted jeans that are encrusted with all sorts of big and beautiful jewels. Now of course, that was not all that was in this collection but I have to say that this specific collection reminded me a lot of the fifties and I am absolutely into the fifties style of clothing.
