Swimsuits… for next year

This week, it’s the Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week in Miami and it’s almost as far as you can get from Paris Couture (thankfully). It’s all about swimsuits trotting down the runways for the Summer ‘08 season. I still haven’t decided on an appropriate suit for this year, so all of this is a bit high-pressure.

One of the American urbanite ultimates, Badgley Mischka, launched a new swimsuit line there yesterday. The design duo of Mark Badgley and James Mischka are all tucked in nicely with Mercedes Benz. Why? Well, they’re part of the “Mercedes Benz Presents” series, one that only recognizes designers who MB feels best represents the Mercedes brand. So, if you’ve always wanted a swimsuit that made people think of luxury cars, apparently this is it.
