Siemens CL75 Poppy

Siemens released their Siemens CL75 Poppy ladyphone (in a collabo with BenQ) quite some time ago, targetting the female audiance who is concerned with how their apparel looks. The catch-phrase: “Most phones are from Mars, this one is from Venus” was a nice find, much better than their “Stands out beautifully” which they used for the UK market.
Anyway, on to the phone details. Its relatively small body (the fact that it doesn’t have an antenna is always a good thing handbag-wise) looks very sexy. The clamshell mobile phone, equipped with two displays and a camera fits into any handbag. A (nice) little extra: one of its displays also works as a make-up mirror. The cell-phone’s body is finished in silver with interchangeable face & rear plates. The ones supplied are as in the picture, with a metallic pink finish with the poppy motif on the front and rear.
The inside looks equally female with pink numerical keys surrounded by chrome & further chrome navigation keys. It all just looks so girly and pretty.
The price? This baby can be bought for as low as €199 if you get lucky. Come on, that’s a real bargain! For €199 you get a very sexy phone, with all the features you need and quite a few other extra’s. I bought mine some time ago and haven’t regretted it since (I switch cell-phones quite often, but this one seems like it’s a keeper!).
I need to get my hands on a ladyphone quickly… I’m still carrying my old (yet baby-blue) Noka 8310 around… I need a cell-phone upgrade ;)
