Shoe-Battle: Linea Paolo vs. Marc Jacobs

Oh my goodness… I’ll start off with a self-explanatory photo to make sure everyone knows what I’m talking about. ;-)

Marc Jacobs Linea Paolo

Is that obvious enough? Right, these two pairs of shoes look alike. Does the price tag look alike too? Not quite: where the Marc Jacobs pair will cost you close to $400, the Linea Paolo pair just under $100.

Good for us? Maybe…. Good news? Not really… Come on, Linea Paolo, don’t make it that obvious… You’ll feel the difference when wearing them, I’m sure, but still…. I suggest Marc Jacobs get their lawyers on this ;-).

    I trust Linea Paolo on that design over Marc in a second. That is Paolo’s signature… a flashback to the 40’s or 50’s with a modern twist.

    Those don’t look like Marc shoes to me.

    HOWEVER, the recent debacle has me a little nervous about Paolo - the Prada rip off? That was NOT Paolo’s style at all. Wow.
