Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith’s Rosebud Salve

Rosebud Perfume Smiths Rosebud SalveIs this Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith’s Rosebud Salve some sort of Oldtimer Lipbalm? Beauty.com seems to be going crazy for it:

“Is it as good as they claim? There’s no doubt. Hard-to-find Rosebud Salve is considered the gold-standard of lip balms — even jaded Beauty Editors (we’re just one example) go crazy for it. Soft, supple, and slightly rose-scented lips result with every use. [....] First Prepared by a Druggist in 1892 - New Package Adopted in 1962″

Some user reviews were equally positive and made me really excited:

” [.....] This stuff is AMAZING on blemishes. It heals them so fast. I’ve also started putting a very thin layer of the salve on my face at night before bed [.....] My skin loves this stuff.”

….

“Just wanted to add that I recently began using this product as a nightime “eye cream.” The results were so astounding that I now put a light layer on my whole face before bed. I swear it makes my skin look younger and dewier than anything else I’ve tried. [.....] My skin is way healthier and younger-looking since using this stuff as a nightime moisturizer!”

….

“Now that I’ve found Rosebud Salve, I am amazed by the difference in my lips. In warm weather, just a coating of this will do, and it stays on for a long time. In cold weather or if my lips are particularly dry, I will put some moisturizer on my lips, let it soak in, then use the Rosebud Salve, and my lips look and feel plump, moist and healthy. [.....] I recommend it highly!”

I was wondering why they were so positive, so I ordered some and received it in the mail on friday. I know I shouldn’t be too positive about a product after one day, but I can only tell you one thing: it feels so great on my lips AND my skin… I would recommend the Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith’s Rosebud Salve to anyone! Oh, and euh, the price is right: you can find the Rosebud Salve for anything from $5 to $10. Have fun!
