This was the first off-schedule showing for Reem Alasadi, and boy did it ever make an impression. The designs were dark and a few were downright creepy. They were all very reminiscent of the dark Victorian ages, very sinister. The use of antique lace mixed with sheepskin and rabbit fur looked more like Halloween costumes than clothing designs. But, in spite of it all, I really sort of like the first picture. It’s probably the only semi-normal piece in the bunch. Now, as far as the picture that has the necklace made with baby doll heads (it’s the last one) I could have definitely done without that one.
