Premier Designs 2008 catalogue (and photo)

by Daphne on January 31st, 2008

I know there are tons of Premier Designs sellers reading Blog-Tique, and I was wondering if any of you was able to keep me up to date with a new catalogue for PD?

I’m also still looking for some pictures of Premier Designs jewelry — non-copyrighted ones, for use on this website. We used to have  an official pic up, but for some incredibly shortsighted reason, a Premier Designs-guy asked us to take it down (can you believe that?). We would love some pretty shots to include in our popular story — and now we can’t. Off course we will leave generous photo credits! :)

Our e-mail address is staff @ blog – tique . com without the spaces! :)

  1. I was invited to one of these parties, and honestly-I won’t even attend the party if I’m not able to first preview the items (and their prices) online. I don’t feel so bad, because it’s just an aquantance hosting. But I’m not walking into a “sales” party to be surprised by overpriced and ugly items. By not making their products available to customers, they are loosing customers before they even get them.

  2. I agree with Evergreen- I am VERY disapointed that there is not an online catalog to preview. I am attending a party for the first time and intend to purchase something, mostly as a courtesy to the hostess. However, in these tight economic times it would be nice to be able to preview and select items in advance that you know you can afford. That way, once you attend the party and can “hands on” the items, you can narrow down your choices. Not having an online catalog seems too much like an “ambush” sales tactic.

I agree with Evergreen. I don’t want to waste a friday night with some people I barely know for overprices fashion jewlrey. Times are tough and items like these must be worth it. I really prefer to look at the items online and then commit to the invitation.

  4. Has anyone else heard that there is supposed to be a big announcement in February? Could it be that the catalog is going on line? What would it hurt if one could at least look at it? Other jewelry companies have theirs on-line. If one browses it and wants to buy something, the site directs them to a consultant. Brilliant.

  5. I agree with you ladies as well- I was just invited to a “show” and I want to see ahead of time what they have to offer and their prices…..it’s kinda cheesy not to have this available. One thing you can do is see what a site like e-bay may have and possible pricing.

  6. I attended my first party about a month ago. I was very pleased with the jewelry and the prices. Your hostess can provide you with a catalog to look at before the party because Premier encourages pre-party orders and the hostess gets free jewelry for those orders. Another great thing is the Premier Rep has a great selection to view at the party. The catalog does not do the jewelrt justice. In reading the other comments it seems like to me those with the negative feelings just do not want to attend the parties and are looking for a way out.

  7. Christie is so right. The catalog doesn’t do the jewelry justice. When you see the pieces they look totally different than in the catalog. Much better to see in person.

  8. I agree with all you ladies. The jewelry looks so much better in person than in the catalog. Being a consultant for Premier Designs, I can tell you the reason our catalog is not online is because the founders believe in service to our clients. They want you to know who you are purchasing from so that you are assured you are getting the honest answers to questions and the best care possible. Although we can do business through email and over the phone we all prefer to make contact face to face. So that is why you won’t see our jewelry online. If would like a catalog you can always email me with your information at jtriplett@nc.rr.com or even go to the Premier Designs website and put in a request for one. I hope this helps you ladies realize we’re more than a jewelry company we build people.

  9. I have been invited to a few of these parties. For the first one, I just bluntly asked the prices before I even agreed to go. Sheepishly, she told me the prices range from $20-$60. I can’t afford that, and I’ve turned down every party invite ever since.

  10. I definitely understand where Evergreen and Annette are coming from. I just attended my first party last night. I viewed the catalog first but honestly, the pictures did not do justice for the jewelry. Once I saw it in person, there were so many pieces that I fell in love with. Best of all, most of the pieces were very affordable. I don’t usually switch up my jewelry but I could not resist these beautiful pieces.

  11. I just signed on to sell jewelry. Does anyone have any sample party invitations that they could send to me. Ilyse81@aol.com. I would greatly appreciate it.

  12. scam scam scam premier designs is silver plated jewelry silver plated is not real silver .I turns your skin green.Premier designs is no good jewelry.

email me joshuaogilby@yahoo.com if you agree

  13. Premier never claims to have all “real” silver… guess you mean sterling? Every description of every piece says what it is… plated, sterling, etc. Turning your skin green has nothing to do with the plating process… it has to do with your own body’s ph.

And agreed with above… looks like ppl are looking for a way to get out of going the parties and that the hostesses aren’t really that great of friends, or you just have more important things to do, no big deal.
