My shopping-trip in Paris

It’s been five days since my last post, but I have a good excuse: my boyfriend and I went on a city(/shopping)-trip to Paris! We left on friday morning and returned yesterday evening and although I had my laptop with me (in my oh so stylish Pinder laptop case, thanks Daphne) I really didn’t have any time to blog about my adventures in Paris.

We spend almost an entire day at the Galleries Lafayette and I can now officialy say that this is my favorite shoppingcenter ever. My haert skipped a beat the moment I walked in there, I’m sure whoever has been there already knows the feeling! Eight whole floors with nothing but great stores, what more can you ask for? I think we spend two hours on the ground only, there was so much to look for: cosmetics, jewellery, leather goods, handbags (not just any handbags, going from Longchamp to Chanel and much more) and fashion accessories (sounds like heaven no?). Oh, and I’m only talking about the main store: Lafayette coupole, there’s also Lafayette maison and Lafayette Gourmet.

My first purchase was a classic Fendi Baguette. This handbag is been made famous by Carrie from SATC in 1999 and Fendi still makes them in special editions, the Fendi shop at Galleries Lafayette is one of those places where you can still find them. The Fendi Baguette is a true shoulder handbag wich you carry right under your arm, just like a french bread and I must say I simply adore them.

There is so much more to tell about my little shopping trip, but that’s for tomorrow! (I’m going out now, showing off my gorgous new Fendi bag!)
