Now we are ready to get to the classic white Poplin shirt. However, there is a twist with the Modern Simplicity look — or, more specifically, there is a ruffle.

Poplin gets a feminine edge with this trend, especially when you wear them with classy little pencil skirts or dress pants in a lovely tweed. You will look professional and classy, but you cannot question that this look is uber sexy as well.

Large cardigans that drape are a must have as well. Wear yours with a skinny belt or simply keep it closed; either way a draped cardigan will look fantastic with dark jeans and pointy flats.

Last but not least, we have the boyfriend blazer, some with sequins, most of them large and/or long. This piece looks great if you mix it with casual accents.
