Hi Missy,

I am very sorry to hear about your misfortune with this advisor. I am sure, like any other company, there are 'bad apples' out there. As far as the company, it sounds like they are just trying to follow their set procedures to find out what is going on. However, as a customer you deserve your jewelry!

I became an advisor in October of 2008 and have really enjoyed it. My son went to college and I was looking for a productive outlet to spend my spare time. That plus pretty jewelry really attracted me. Also, I feel I have a love for people and want to make their lia sophia experience nothing but positive!

Because of this, I would love to come do your show! Where are you located? Also, I would honor the piece that you ordered and never received! Please check out my website and you can learn a bit more about me. Also, I would love to talk to you on the phone... please feel free to call me! (864)494-2268

Warm Regards,

I need help, can I post my email here?
gemmaslight at yahoo dot com

Here's my story, in short, there is more to it.

My friend had a party in June. I booked then to host a party in July and paid for my 'hostess' gift', advisor never contacted me or my friend after the party. We could not get ahold of her to see if she ordered from her party, and where were the invites for my party. A few days after my party was supposed to be, we finally got the items.
All, except mine.
I wrote Lia Sophia, last I heard was that my emails were forwarded to 'proper areas' and once they got in contact with the advisor, I "should" recieve contact then. Oh, and she said to allow more time. ?????

Well, it's been since July, it's really that hard for them to locate her and my order info?

What I don't get, items were ordered to be recieved at my party, why not mine? I didn't get a reciept or anything, obviously since I didn't get my item.

3 other parties were booked off that one, so I'm sure advisor is reaping the benefits of that too! Which is not right since we are not having anymore after this and other problems.

So, it's not just the advisor, it's Lia Sophia also. They can't just say, from the order number I gave from my mother's reciept (only info I have to give)...oh I see you paid for this, well we'll send the item and we'll deal with the advisor. Why should I be out money and/or item? I'm sure they have thousands of the bracelet I ordered.
I inteneded to have the party, the advisor bailed, not me.

Anyone knows who I can talk to, feel free to email me.
The one I'm talking with now at Lia Sophia isn't any good. Give it more time she says? ugh!!

I'm a self representing artist and I go beyond if I make a mistake, I'd never ever be able to let an order go so long like this. I say buy fair trade, or artist made! At least you'll get real silver or gold, for most times a lot cheaper while helping communities and dealing with people that love their work and stand by it. ;)

Hi,
I was really surprised to hear the complaint about returning items. I started out as a customer of lia sophia and I have had nothing but great service with returns etc. Just because one time something happens doesn't mean it happens all the time. That is a bit of a leap. I work for a major medical company and even with them being fortune 500 they make mistakes. That is the nature of business.
I have returned countless things for myself and for my customers. I loved the quality of lia sophia so much and had such a great experience that I decided to join. I have always been a skeptic of home party stuff but this is the real deal. Women can never have enough jewelry and lia sophia is all about their customers. That is what keeps people coming back over and over again.
This is a great company and I know a lot of people who are making a lot of money with this. Also, I know a lot of people that love the jewelry and have been very impressed with the product and services.

I've been buying Lia Sophia for 2yrs now but only because a good friend of mine sells it. I now own several pieces, bracelets, earings, necklaces and rings. Every single ring has tarnished and a few pairs of earings. I've had to return them several times over the last 2yr and refuse to purchase anymore from this company. When you first get them they look beautiful but after a few weeks of wear, they tarnish so bad they look like you bought them from a cheap jewelry chain in the mall. My friend is always telling me and everyone else that complains about this same issue that it's because we have a high acidity level. This must be the reply that Lia Sophia has they reps tell everyone to make the customer feel like it "OUR FAULT". Funny that it's happened to everyone I know that has purchased rings from Lia Sophia. How do you explaine that? I've NEVER had any other good quality rings tarnish on me besides these. If you want a quality REAL 925 sterling silver jewelry than buy them from Silpada or Gemstyle. Gemstyle has good quality jewelry and is very reasonably priced!!!

Lia Sophia has beautiful pieces, but the quality is clearly not there and the jewelry is not worth the price tag. I spent about $50 on a ring and it looks like a $10 ring.

Customers can get the jewelry at a fraction of the original price on Ebay.

If you have a platinum wedding band turning your finger green..... maybe your ring came out of the bubble gum machine?

Deb,
If a person has a natural high acidity level in his/her skin, it is possible for his/her finger to "turn green" from silver or gold jewelry, especially when the weather is hot and humid. Even my platinum wedding set turns my finger green when I`m under alot of stress.

I have been a lia sophia advisor for a year now. I thoroughly checked into every direct sales jewelry company out there before signing on with lia sophia and lia sophia is far superior to any of them.

I think they have some really creative nice looking pieces. The quality is pretty poor though. Every single one of the rings I bought (about 4-5) turns my fingers green after a few hours of wear. I bought them a couple years ago so I could only return them in exchange for merchandise credit and I'm really not interested in replacing them with more of their overpriced, poor quality products. I'm just chalking it all up as a lesson learned. When I pay $40 for a ring, I kind of expect it to be better than that. I can get nice sterling silver stuff that doesn't react with my skin for much cheaper at JC Penney or someplace. I'd definately be embarrased to sell it given my experiences.

Stacy,
If you are considering the business and you join my team I have a way that you can earn your kit. Go to my website and contact me and I will tell you all about it. I am a Star Unit Manager and have been doing this for a year and a half now, this is the only job I have and make enough money where I don't have to work out of the home. I love this job!

I'm just wondering why a message that I posted almost 2 weeks ago never made it to the site. I really wanted to hear other people's feed back.
