Kissable lips
Posted: 9/28/06I never leave the house without lipstick on and at least one lipstick and one gloss in my purse. Even when I just go out to the bakery I always put on some gloss or lipstick. It makes you look glamourous even when you’re just wearing a jeans and a t-shirt! Honestly girls, there’s nothing more important than taking care of your lips.
Let me tell you my secret for creating the perfect, most kissable lips ever! After you brushed your teeth in the morning, don’t forget to brush your lips as well (yes: with your toothbrush, but without toothpaste off course). This will remove all the dead skin on your lips and make them ultra soft and clean. Step two: not only your skin needs to be moisturized every day, also your lips are in need for it. I use Labello classic for this, it really gives me a long lasting protection.
After the moisturizing, it’s time to take your lip pencil for outlining and defining your lips. I suggest using the same color as your lipstick, if you don’t, you easily get that tacky look nobody wants. Finally, your lips are ready for your favorite lipstick. Put on one layer, wait a few seconds, bite on a tissue and put on a second layer. If you want them to look extra shiny put one some transparant gloss over your lipstick. Your lips will look fabulous for several hours, at least mine do. ;-)
Should I get another toothbrush for this? I have one of those electric toothbrushes and I’m not too comfortable with putting it on my precious precious lips :D
