Karl Lagerfeld Spring/Summer 2008 Paris

This collection is brilliant! Karl Lagerfeld, at 74 years of age has designed a beautiful collection very reminiscent of the 1980s club scene, which was what he was going for. Well, he hit his mark beautifully. I love the rainbow runway, and the clothes are phenomenal. I especially love the sheer pants. Karl is certainly no newbie to the fashion industry, besides being the longtime creative director for the Fendi label, he has also worked designing several collections for Chanel over the past 25 years. The Karl Lagerfeld line is a small one for him, but it will undoubtedly become a hit after this runway collection.
