Jimmy Choo: The Vintage Collection!

This year Jimmy Choo celebrates its tenth anniversary: Happy Birthday! In order to celebrate these ten years of fabulous shoes, Tamara Mellon made The Vintage Collection. This collection contains ten of the most eye catching, glamourous and beautiful designs released by Jimmy Choo in the last ten years. I’m sure you all know a few off these timeless beauties: the lilac suede and feather sling back wore by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, the classic Swarovski crystal studded Oscar shoe or the exotic tiger print stiletto boot. The Vintage Collection is released as a limited edition, so hurry up if you want to get your hands on one of these must-haves!

If you’re making the trip to one of the Jimmy Choo’s Boutiques for the Vintage Collection (a good reason for me to go shopping in Paris again) than you must take a look at the Autumn Winter collection of 2006. The pumps, sandals and boots are designed for self-possessed women who are looking for a new kind of elegance. The heavy metal theme, one of the most dominating themes on the fashion catwalks this autumn, has been translated into black, petrol, red, … boots or pumps with gold and silver finishing touches. If it doesn’t sound convincing to you: it looks convincing!
