Haute Couture Wrap-Up

Well, Paris Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter Haute Couture lines is over. Sigh. I just love the fantasy of it all. Given that no one can afford this stuff anyway, I think all designers should be forced to only make creations like these walking cupcakes by Dior:

Wouldn’t you just die to try on one of those gowns? I don’t think I could handle it. The experience of being inside one of those ridiculous (and yet, ridiculously awesome) dresses would be too stimulating. I’d probably pee. What was I saying? Right. Fashion Week. Ahem…and while Dior turns us into cupcakes, Chanel would like us to be rectangles;
