Crème de La Mer - Eye Concentrate
Posted: 6/27/08I’m a huge huge fan of Crème de La Mer; its been one of my beauty staples eversince I received a complimentary GWP trial size a few years ago. The luxe moisturizer is marketed primarily as an anti-aging moisturizer, but its many (tested and proven) benefits include a dramatic reduction in undereye circles. While it does cost an arm and a leg, the marked results on my own dark circles, make La Mer totally worth it’s hefty pricetag.
So like many La Mer fans who use it as an eye cream, I was thrilled to hear about the release of the new La Mer Eye Concentrate which promises (taken from the website) “to work over time to dramatically dissolve the appearance of dark circles and puffiness.
The eye area appears healthy, more vital.” Key ingredients include hematite (a mineral rich in iron,) white algae, and Miracle Broth (a patented blend of sea kelp, calcium, magnesium gluconate, and botanical oils, that makes the moisturizer so effective.) The ultra-luxe eye treatment is said to contain a triple concentration of Miracle Broth, making it 3x more potent than the legendary Crème de La Mer.
Like most luxury beauty products, La Mer Eye Concentrate comes with a considerable pricetag of US$200 for a tiny 15ml/0.5oz jar. (Which means my lemming will have to cool its heels for awhile until I can afford to try some myself.)
