Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2008 in London

Christopher Kane’s collection was met with like and dislike. While many people felt ripped jeans and millions of ruffles were out of place in the high fashion world, there were just as many who loved the collection and couldn’t wait for more. It was apparently inspired by Stephen King’s horror movies and Crocodile Dundee, as is very evident in the use of alligator and snake skin patterns. Overall, I liked the collection, with the exception of the highly ruffled pieces, I think they may have been just a bit overdone. Ripped jeans are, and will always be, my favorite piece of clothing, and I think they still look sexy, even if it’s not the 80’s any longer.
