Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2008
This was a really beautiful collection. Now, I realize that I’m a little slow in getting you the pictures (the show was held last month), but they are definitely worth the wait. The whole theme seemed to be a 1920’s Bonnie and Clyde type feeling. I love the “flapper†look in many of the pieces. Even the lingerie looked like it came from a 1920 Madame’s boudoir. Love it! I’m not normally a really big fan of CD, but I really loved this collection. There were other pieces that didn’t hold the “flapper†look quite so much, but I think the ones that did are the best pieces of the whole collection. Even the animal print ones, and I have seen enough animal prints this season to make me a zoo keeperJ
