This style is actually something that came from Europe and Africa, where the climates are extremely hot and they needed something that was going to keep them cool. Safari style is all about the outdoor sports in a hot season.

Loose pants, shorts, blouses and some awesome t-shirts is what this particular style is all about and the colors are usually natural. Sands, greens some pale blues – all of these colors are things that go great with this style.

That is what we are going to go over in the next few blogs, some street fashion that will allow you to work out and still look fantastic. Sporty style is something that can be difficult to pull off but it is something that you can pull off.

One of the first looks that we have is something that is loose, elastic, and water-resistant and of course something that looks fantastic. That is what this piece is all about. More in the next blog!

What am I talking about? Ripped up stockings and tights, of course. The trend will continue to be prevalent this fall as well as in the winter season spanning 2009 and 2010.

It is amazing that something so seemingly simple has been popular for decades, at least at one point or another. It was huge in the 1980s, made a comeback during the 1990s, especially when grunge began its climb to popularity, it reemerged in the 2000s due to the 1980s fashion revival, and now it is back as part of a neo grunge trend.

Of course you can buy your tights and stockings with rips, runs, and ladders, but if you don’t want to spend money on something that is essentially damaged, you can easily do it yourself. You can use everything from scissors to cheese graters, just make sure you choose stockings made of heavy fabric.

For those of you that are really into fashion this year, you should know that Jeffrey Chow has finally scored the best job in the world – he is the newest top designer and head designer for the Poleci label. Personally, up until now, I had never seen anything that Jeffrey ever did but now that I have, I can absolutely see why he snagged this job.

He will also be showing his very first collection at next years fashion week in NY, so you definitely have to watch out for this up and comer. He is going to be great! I mean honestly, take a look at the piece that he did in the picture above – it is breathtakingly beautiful and I have to say that you really have to have talent to pull something like that together.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jeffrey Chow is going to be huge and you heard it here first!

We all know that jeans are the casual pants of the world, but did you know there are actually many, many different styles of jeans that you can wear at different times in the year and really make a statement? Whenever jeans are involved, there are quite a few different ways that you can wear them and that is what we are going to discuss here!

First and foremost, for those of you that have no idea what skinny jeans are, they are actually almost like second-skin jeans and they are definitely jeans that are chic and sleek and are totally incredible on. These jeans can be paired with some boots or even just a pair of stilettos and I can promise that you will look incredibly hot.

Then there the jeans that are extremely casual and loose – these jeans are the kind of jeans that you can wear pretty much anywhere but they are not usually sexy and that’s all right1 Sometimes you just need to be casual!

Let’s talk about puffy sleeves. Really – really? I mean …. Really? I honestly do not think that this should even be a trend and if those celebrities want to look like damn fools, I say let ‘em! I think that the puffy sleeve trend should not even be around and I promise – I love this chick here, I think that she is an incredible singer, love her hair but currently, her outfit is something that I would burn rather than wear.

I do not understand why celebrities can get away with looking like this. If I walked out of my house with puffy sleeves, I think I would be laughed at to the point of crying and would be made to change! So really – do you agree with me? Personally, I hate puffy sleeves!

So ladies and gentlemen – hold up your hands if you agree that puffy sleeves NEED to go and get the heck outta dodge!

Well, a lot of people simply have no – no idea at all what makes green clothing … well, green. We are going to break it down for you and explain exactly why eco-friendly clothing is the way it is. Basically, these pieces of clothing are made from fabric that is all natural.

For example, hemp fabrics, cotton fabrics, wool fabrics and even some silks are all fabrics that are green – that means that there are not chemicals in them and that they were made via recycled fabrics and are being reused. The environment is something that is extremely important to us nowadays and you will definitely notice that the fashion world is slowly but surely changing over to green clothes.

So really, keep your eyes peeled for all of those eco-friendly fashions coming out this year and every year to come ladies!

This spring ladies, the eighties are making their way back onto the runway and certainly back into our closets. Why? Because the style repeats itself and it is time to recycle the style of the eighties and move back into the big hair movement right?

Not that I am looking forward to this by any means, but I am simply stating that the eighties are back this spring and from the looks of it, they are coming back just as unstylish as they left!

Take a look at some of these outfits. To be frank, I wouldn’t wear a single one of them and while most models like what they are wearing, I do not think that these models look all that happy in what the designs put them in. Designers – wake up and think of something new and fresh!

One thing that I did not think would be in this spring is Harlem Pants. Now really and truly, I have never owned a pair of Harlem pants but just by looking at them in this picture, I do not think that I could really ever handle wearing a pair or owning a pair.

What is with the way that they poof out near the hips and thighs? That only draws attention to those areas ladies, so if you are trying to draw attention away from that area, you may not want to invest in something like this! Also … the tight weight and then the like leggings at the bottom … really, what is that?

Honestly ladies, if you like this pair of pants, please … by all means, let me know why. I would love some feedback on why these pants are popular and why people are buying them at all!

Now this is more like it. The Phillip Lim collection is fabulous. All these pieces are so totally normal and wearable. I love it! Even the colors are perfect. From the belted dresses to the pleated trousers, I’m telling you I would wear everything in this collection. Except of course for the menswear, but it’s really nice, too. I love the cuffed legs in the trousers (first picture). That is one of my favorite looks. This show was so amazing, everything was so completely normal and beautiful. I can’t wait to see what’s next with this one!
