While the words Plastic & Shoes have always called to mind images of bargain bin footwear; Brazilian brand Melissa has redefined the notion of plastic footwear with their sensational collection of ultra-glam jelly shoes. Stumbled upon… Hollywould’s Summer 2008 shoes — and one gorgeous pair of green sandals in particular. Textural leather with metallic trim, wraparound ankle bands with golden logo-engraved buckle, smooth grained leather lining and padded insole, 3.5″ leather-covered stiletto heel… BEAUTIFUL. They’re about $500 at eLuxury. Not TOO bad now, innit?

But — luckily, the shoes rock, so I won’t have to feel bad talking them up. The Crisscross Slingback in “Pure gold” patent leather is a winner. Perfect for spring nights out — stunning.

The returning Patent Pumps are classics — and a must-have. They’re perfect for formal stuff — and great for professionals. $570.00 isn’t even expensive — considering.
