Do you ever wonder how your favourite actress maintains her red carpet perfect beauty even after a long day. Celebrity makeup artists put stain to their lips and cheeks before covering them with some foundation. So when their makeup wears off after hours of socializing and after an event, the lips and cheeks are still glowing underneath.

Concealers

Here’s a rule of thumb you can use when choosing your concealer. Darker olive skinned should go for apricot or peachy concealers. Yellowish skins can go for shades of pink or lilac. Reddish compexions should go for corrective sticks of green.

Fresh Face

Avoid applying powder every time you freshen up. Do not follow this tip and you might end up looking cakey. Remove excess moisture by using blot papers.

Cheekbones

If you want to have a better facial contour to reveal those lovely cheekbones, apply some highlighting powder after putting bronzer or blush on your face.  Put some powder above and below the color you have put. This will really have a great effect on your face.

Bronzed Beauty

If you want to have that brown shade on you, magically bake it with some bronzing powder on your chin, nose, cheeks, and forehead. Choose a powder that has a light reflective property to have that airbrushed glow. Remember though not to go too dark.

It seems that in this blog, we have covered everything that has to do with spring this week and if you are still wondering what to do with your makeup – I can tell you for sure that this look right here is ideal.  The eyes have it ladies, the brighter the color around your eyes the better and the blush that is added is a beautiful touch.

Now, for me, I would have changed up the lips a little bit and went with a red lip but overall, I think that this particular look is one that represents everything that is in this blog about spring 2010.  There are a ton of different tricks and tips and that you can take advantage of, but you just want to make sure that you find one that suits you.

Spring is all about color and make sure that you really make your eyes, lips and entire face just pop and look beautiful!

All right, we are getting down to the wire now and I can tell you for sure that coral is definitely one hot color this spring.  While it might seem like the color coral is just for retirees, that is not the case any longer.  Spring 2010 has opened up that avenue and now, you can whip out your coral makeup and make yourself look beautiful!

Now, the thing about coral is that you do not want to overdo it – you want to do subtle touches.  For example, if you are going to do coral lipstick, you do not want to do coral eye shadow as well – you want to make sure that there are just some a hint of coral is all and that should be enough.

Now that we have talked a little bit about some hair, let’s move on back over to the makeup and it is about the shimmer.  Shimmer is huge, huge, huge for 2010 spring and I can tell you for sure that if you are looking to get a glow, you should put it on your tanned skin.

Shimmering eye shadow as well as shimmering lipstick is hot, hot, hot this season and if you are interested in finding getting your shimmer on, all you have to do is research!  To be perfectly honest, every single makeup vendor right now is putting out some type of shimmer makeup and you really just have to look at it.

Shimmer is huge in spring 2010, so make sure that you shimmer it up this season!

I am talking about the inexplicable reemergence of light blue eyeshadow.  Why?  How?  When?  For what reason?  And please, please, can’t somewhere out there make it go away?

I will give you that models in ultra edgy photo shoots can do this and pull it off to varying degrees of success.  I will even allow that it can sometimes look good on the runway.

And hey, perhaps if you are very skilled, you can even pull it off during an evening spent at a club.  The real fashion don’t here is trying to wear this frosted junk during the day, when it is really just too much.

Now, that being said, one of the biggest trends for the summer is natural colors. This is especially true where blush is concerned, and designers are absolutely wild about peach. If you saw any of the Hermes shows recently, you are well aware that the color is big on this summer’s palette. A lot of people do not realize that peach actually contains a lot of very strong pigments, though, so you need to apply this blush with a very light touch. Just swipe a little bit of it right below the apples of your cheeks and you will positively glow.

It’s so hard to copy the smokey eye look that Kim Kardashian sports plus it’s such a workout to remove all those mascara off my eyelashes. Good thing the new beauty trend this Fall shuns away from too much glop and lets the skin breathe with its “natural’ look. The models at the Ralph Lauren fashion show proved to the world that smokey isn’t the only way to be sultry.

I’m a beauty junkie but I prefer the “au natural” look, and one of the things I can’t live without is blush because it just perks up my face without being too overdone. I recently discovered Becca Lip & Cheek Crème in Tuberose while I was chatting with a friend. When I saw it inside its case, the color seemed a bit overwhelming, but once applied, it gave my cheeks a nice coral wash. In addition, it also doubles as a lip color so I don’t have to pack an extra tube into my bag.

Also available in three other yummy colors (petal, rosebud, and blossom).

Flush (a cool sheer berry-red that smells like raspberries), Blushing Bride (a deep dusty rose that smells like plums); Tickled (a true neutral sheer peachy-red that smells like peaches); Sunkissed (a sheer bronze that smells like coconuts); Tipsy (a sheer peach with a slight hint of shimmer, this smells like apricots); Dollface (a sheer candy pink that also has a touch of shimmer, this smells like strawberries); Bronze Goddess (similar to Sunkissed in color and scent, but with a touch of shimmer); Cloud 9 (a sheer peach lilac with a touch of shimmer, and a grape candy scent.)

My favorite personal favorite is Tickled, the sheer pretty shade gives me the prettiest healthiest peach glow.
