These pictures are from behind the scenes at the fashion show, and although the models all together and the general chaos going on around the designs is distracting, you can still get a feel for the collection. Overall, I wasn’t terribly impressed. I do like the clothes, and I especially love the hats, but the [...]

I really liked the sweaters and knits in this collection. Although there were other pieces. The skirts are beautiful, and the sheer green piece in the first picture with the hood and embroidery is beautiful. The sweaters, though, are great. I haven’t seen a lot of knit pieces in the collections yet this season, and [...]

Now this is what I’ve been waiting to see. This beautiful use of colors and fabrics. I was so excited when I saw this collection that I just jetted right over here to bring it to you. Balenciaga is a mastermind of fashion. The silky fabrics and bold colors are beautiful. And, I love the [...]

Okay, now I know I’ve already shown you the Chanel line. And I did rave about the shoes, but these deserve a close up. Now, I’ve tried to decide just why I don’t think that these shoes are ugly, but the simple truth is that I love them. The detailing and the work that must [...]

Crisp, Fresh, Color. That was the sight on the runway when models appeared in Paul Smith’s 2008 Spring/Summer Collection. I love the skirts, shorts, dresses..actually I loved the entire collection. The colors are bold and bright, and the whole collection was fun to look at, and you can bet it will be fun to wear. [...]

To some, the idea of fingerless gloves/arm warmers might seem ridiculous. As in, what’s the point? Well, for starters, they’re super cute. They also make it very easy to operate a mobile phone, coffee cup, purse, or steering wheel. I may be stretching it a bit here, but seriously, they’re really cute. I’m thinking, for [...]

Etsy.com is one of my favourite sites to find clothing, accessories, home items, and crafts from truly independent designers. Etsy is about one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces (a few thousand of them) as well as building a community for the designers’ themselves. I know that at my local market, there’s a weekly ‘Etsy’ table staffed by volunteer [...]

Two very sexy knitwear pieces today, both from the absolutely fab asos.com website. They’ve got so many cool pieces but these two really are on top of the knitwear section if you ask me — both style-wise and value for money-wise. Whoever said knitwear wouldn’t be in this summer just fell on their head, by [...]

The winter really kicked in last week, so it’s time to update your wardrobe. One off my favorite trends this winter is knitwear, going from berets to cardigans, sweaters, shrugs, … Wearing knitwear will keep you warm and make you all ultrachic and feminin. What you may not forget with knitwear is: less is more! [...]
