Well, I found an extremely cheap and small solution: Pinder laptop cases! Made out of strong water repellent abrasion resistant 1000 denier nylon, 1/4 inch closed cell foam and indestructible oversized zippers, they are good protection, and different from what others have! They come in quite a few colors (including pink) and I must say they look very, very nice.
