When you think of Calvin Klein, usually the first thing that you think about is underwear. That was not always the case, back in the late ‘70’s, Calvin Klein actually launched a lot of designer jeans that were very, very popular. I think that the greatest thing about Calvin Klein is that he not only has a clear design path, but he also makes a lot of things affordable for the common person … which is something that is very appealing to a lot of the world.

What most people do not know about Calvin Klein is that he was born in 1942 in the Bronx, NY. He started in the fashion business in 1968 and he went to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY. Calvin Klein actually started out as a coat company and then he moved into sportswear. He actually left his mark with some industry firsts which include men’s underwear – and making it sexy and the very first unisex fragrance, CK One.

Calvin Klein is one of those designers that everyone knows – everyone in the world and he is by far one of the biggest designers in the industry.

Beautiful! The Calvin Klein collection is beautiful and so feminine. The nuance of color and the fluidity of the silks used in many of the pieces is absolutely stunning. There also seemed to be a seamless feature to this collection, which I simply adore. Overall, the collection seems to be a great hit, the designs are beautiful, the colors are perfect, and they all flow so beautifully. Most of the pieces are really close fitting, so I donâ€™t know how well they would look on those of us who donâ€™t have the body of a model, but itâ€™s nice to dreamJ
