Etsy is about one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces (a few thousand of them) as well as building a community for the designers’ themselves. I know that at my local market, there’s a weekly ‘Etsy’ table staffed by volunteer Etsy members from my area. It’s cute and it’s uber-local.

The site also features a customized bidding option. Say you want a knit scarf that’s all done in a bird design with your name intertwined throughout it (just saying…), you can post the project and crafters will bid on it. Shyeah! Nothing, absolutely nothing is hotter than customized clothing. Anyway, the point of this post was to list a few recent Etsy finds that stand out…check it out…
