Now that we have talked about jewelry belts and then unusual looking belts, let’s go ahead and touch base on some other types of belts. This one is by far one of my favorites and it is the fabric belt. No matter what kind of fabric you use, I have to tell you that it does make a statement.

The cool thing about fabric belts also is that you can make them as thick or as thin as you want them. That is another huge plus for me because I like thicker belts and while there are many of them out there … none of them ever fit right.

With the fabric belts, I can tell you that they fit awesome and look incredible! More to come!

Now that we have talked about the jewelry belt, let’s dip on over to belts that are designed unusually. These belts are actually pretty hot – whether it is because they are shaped differently or made out of something different. For example, these belts all look a little different and are a little strange but it works!

A simple belt can actually tie your entire look together and I have to say that while they are not rich in details – they are definitely something that could work on you. These simple belts are also something that looks great with any outfit, so that is a plus.

One thing that I have noticed about this year in the way of fashion is that people are obsessed with their accessories. Whether you are looking for an accessory to match your outfit or you are just looking to stand out – this year is all about accessories! Well, belts are definitely the newest accessory that people are obsessed with and I have to say that I agree!

In the next few blogs we are going to talk about some of the belt trends for the fall/winter collections and what you should be aware of to keep you in style! One of the first things up is jewelry belts! These belts are actually very classic and beautiful most of the time.

Belts: Oh Yes, They are Back In For The Summer!

Of things this week here and I have to say that belts were no doubt going to make the list and that is one of the main reasons why I am bringing it up now! Belts are completely awesome and while these two are just two examples of what you can look forward to this season, the belt color and style does not matter at all. What matters is that you are wearing your belts. Honestly ladies, belts are hot this season.

One look that seems to be getting a lot of attention is a belt paired with an animal print pattern. That combination is honestly gaining all sorts of attention and to be honest, I think that it looks absolutely incredible! Take these two looks – they are both animal print and they are both paired with an incredible looking belt!

So if you want to be dramatic this season, you should absolutely make sure that you take a look at some of the hottest accessories!

Iodice is a great and fresh label from Brazil, and these photos of their Sao Paolo Fashion Week runway show exactly why: classy clothing with lots of pretty colors, great use of accessories (I love the belt buckles) and lovely designs. Absolutely awesome!

Jenny Packham Spring/Summer 2008

With celebrities like Eva Longoria and Sarah Jessica Parker adoring this line, it seems like she had a lot of pressure in coming up with beautiful and wearable pieces, but I think that Jenny Packham did a beautiful job. If love the use of chiffon, I think that material just screams feminine. I also think that the beads and glitter that shows in her designs are more beautiful than busy. Normally if you get something with a lot of glitter and glam it just seems so forced, but these are truly elegant and gorgeous. The print dresses are my favorites, but I really, really love the animal print blouses with the black trousers. Very sexy and very romantic and very Grrrrâ€¦

Isabel Marant Spring/Summer 2008

This collection is so fabulous. Itâ€™s like feminine beauty mixed with tomboy chic. I love it. The army camouflage prints are fabulous, and the drawstring trousers are so comfortable. Even the rolled pant legs are great. The whole collection screams â€œwear me!â€. I love the use of scarves, although some think they have been overdone. I think they definitely add character, and these designs have masses of character. The modelsâ€™ hair and make-up was perfectly done also, nothing too much, just simple and chic. The whole show was absolutely wonderful! I donâ€™t really think that the pictures will do it justice, but here they are anyway.

Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2008

This is a beautiful line. The Burberry Prorsum collection contains beautiful pieces that are as unique as they come. I love the cuts of the skirts, and the materials are absolutely fabulous. Even the trench coats in this collection has a somewhat sexy appeal. The belted tops and skirts are beautiful. All the pieces in this collection seem very wearable, and I love the bold hardware on some of the designs. Even with the use of bolder colors, the designs still look classic Burberry. Excellent collection. Designs like these are why I love looking at the catwalk shows!

Igor Chapurin Spring/Summer 2008

I really liked the Chapurin line. The dresses almost make me think of sweet little girls heading to Church. The colors are beautiful and so spring-like, and the cuts and designs are fabulous. I didnâ€™t really care very much for the white make-up around the eyes of his models, but the designs really won me over. The folded, layered look at the bottoms of the dresses is really different, and I love the way it makes the dresses lay. I also think the short length is great for Spring/Summer.Â Very nice collection, great for the not very well known Russian designer.
