BT on Location: Toronto

I’m on vacation in Toronto (soon to be making my way to Halifax, and if you don’t know where that is, then you are the kind of person that thinks Brazilians speak Spanish, labels everything from Asia as “Oriental,” and doesn’t know the capital of Finland. Sorry, I’m sensitive about Hali). Meanwhile, Toronto is;
1. HOT. So Hot (temperature-wise).
2. Still very multicultural.
3. Stylish (maybe I’ve just been out West too long).
4. Home to a lot of good food.
If you’re in Toronto or going to Toronto, you should visit Fresh Collective, a designer-run shop and studio on Queen West (home to some seriously good shopping). Member designers contribute a small rent, commission on sales, and labour via one-day-a-week spent working in the store. Spaces are rented on a month-to-month basis.
