BT on Books: The Little Black Book of Style

Nina Garcia is the fashion editor of Elle Magazine. That said, she’s probably more famous for being a judge on Bravo’s hit series - Project Runway. Now, she’s written a book - The Little Black Book of Style actually.
It’s a style bible, one that promises readers will emerge with a finished sense of personal style. That said, other than a few examples from classic Hollywood and a couple of hashed-together quotes from Sophia Loren, this book doesn’t have a lot of substance. Though the book is marginally more practical than most style guides, it still seems to be little more than a hodge podge of inspirational advice (”you have to feel good to look good”). You could probably skim this over at your local bookstore and take away everything you need.
