Bikini as Art

While cruising my way through my daily blog roll, I came across this gem on Cool Hunting. According to CH, the popular NYC streetwear fashion line Married To the Mob is releasing 200 limited-edition snake-themed bikinis (pictured here) designed by the Brooklyn-based artist KAWS.

Last year, the quickly growing label partnered with the artist to put out 100 bikinis. They sold out fast. This year, they made more. It’s a little late in the season, but the $175 bikinis go on sale Friday July 27 at Original Fake (Tokyo), Alife (NYC), Colette (Paris), and online at the MOB website.
