After thirty years in the fashion business, and at sixty-five years of age, Betsey Johnson still does a cartwheel at the end of her runway shows. And she has reason to be happy since she recently celebrated her clothing label’s thirtieth anniversary show with her Fall 2008 collection. A beautiful display of party frocks, cocktail dresses, and special occasion gowns, when interviewed after the show, Betsey said that she “must have something that no one else offers and that is your own self”.

Having seen the show on television, I was able to view the fancy dresses on actual models and they were heavenly. Whether going to the prom, a friend’s wedding, or an evening gala, any girl would love to wear one of these dreamy creations. Ultra feminine, super sexy, and oh so dainty can only describe these sweet little dresses in frills and bows. The gorgeous Evening Mini Tea Party Dress in two-tone teal is extremely delicate with its sash bow on the back, the ribbons of lace around the bodice and hem, and detachable halter straps making the dress sleeveless.
