Badgley Mischka to Launch Platinum Bag Line

According to WWD and Vogue UK, Badgley Mischka is set to launch a day bag collection under its Platinum line (pictured left). It’s the third handbag collection for Badgley Mischka and through the help of licensee Franchi, the Platinum Day Bags will be distributed and available for about $125 to $295.

Apparently, the brand hopes the new Platinum Day Bag line (set to launch in Spring 08) will ride on the success of their sportswear line and account for 50 percent of their total sales for that year. I really need to start a line of handbags. Seriously.
