Ankle Boots – The Jury is Out

Apparently, this Fall it’s all about the ankle boots. Of course, it was all about the ankle boots LAST Fall too, but let’s not nitpick.

The thing is, unless you have long shapely legs, ankle boots are going to shrink you and stump you. The style cuts off your leg right at the point the calf begins to turn into those oh-so-delicate ankles. If you’re the kind of woman who needs every leg curve that she can get, covering up the most noticeable one is going to result in the ‘tree-trunk’ look (albeit, trunks balanced on tiny, spiky heels) – never a good thing.
