Allegra Hicks Spring/Summer 2008

I love to see designs that are beautiful just in themselves, and not overdone with a lot of fluff. The Allegra Hicks collection is one of those that is beautiful, but doesn’t have a lot of extras thrown in. There are not loads of jewelry or big, attention grabbing shoes in this one, only simple and beautiful designs that are attention grabbing in themselves. I love the flow of these dresses, and even the gold belts aren’t overdone. They are simply beautiful, and that’s what I love to see in designs. The gold dress in the last picture is one of my favorites of the season. It puts me instantly in the mind of a Greek goddess – beautifully done.
