Now, fashion don’t number three is devoted to knockoff handbags — but only in certain contexts.  It would be a pure fallacy to assume all of us — even the majority of us — can logically afford to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a designer purse.  However, there are some people out there who, to be nice, we will refer to as poseurs. These people are perhaps even more pretentious than the folks who do judge people on what designers they are wearing — or carrying, as the case may be.

If you are carrying a knockoff bag not because you like the look of it but rather because you want people to think it is the real thing, then you need to do yourself a few favors.  1., make sure you are not rolling up in a car that clearly costs less than the original version of the fake bag you are carrying.  2., try not to be too ostentatious about it.  3., how about you change your approach altogether and quit posing?  Remember, the adage goes that if the shoes are real and the bag is real, people will assume everything else is real.
